Wildhorse Energy Ltd (ASX:WHE) has signed an extension to its
co-operation agreement with Mecsek-Oko and Mecsekerc, the state-owned
corporations responsible for the development and rehabilitation of the
Hungarian uranium sector.
The agreement is designed to fast-track development of the Mecsek
Hills uranium project, which comprises the WHE-owned Pecs and Abaliget
licences and the adjoining Mecsek-Oko-owned Mecsek Mining Lease East
licence.
As a key component of the agreement, it is intended that WHE's
Pecs and Abaliget licences will be developed within a joint venture
company alongside the adjoining MML-E licence held by Mecsek-Oko with the
express aim of recommencing uranium mining at the project, which has a
current combined JORC compliant Inferred Resource of 48.3Mt at 0.072pc
uranium U3O8 for 77Mlbs of U3O8.
