That seems such a BS explanation from the broker. It makes zero sense.

I think its far more likely that Jayson saw the preconditions of the IDC loan and withdrew their participation on that basis.

I'm also warming to the explanation put forward (indirectly) by @DavoMagic and @HongFang - Jayson is positioning itself for a takeover of Minbos (or perhaps just simply steering Minbos toward insolvency) so they can assume control of these projects and drive them toward successful outcomes.
