The low grade is because they have to mix in exhausted oxide rock with their high grade sulfide ore to get an 80% oxide 20% sulphide blend for the mill.
That's why the mill upgrade.
Nothing to do with the wet season - they have enough high grade sulphide ore and depleted oxide rocks in stock pile.
Even a dry season wouldn't let them mine more oxides at good grades; it's all run out.
