It will yield them a significant additional profit via the agreement to purchase gold at a discount. There will be a guaranteed amount of gold to receive and sell at premium to market (as disc). With potentially 5-10Moz (conservative imo) the long term guaranteed supply is potentially worth billions of dollars in both profit via sales and CG via holding. Q are already in the money. 300M USD is a very good investment.
