Some companies secure offtakes with all manner of conditions precedent - e.g. IF they can build a plant, IF they can deliver Xtpa of product, IF that product passes buyer qualification etc etc.

AGY/Puna Mining is clearly trying to get the ducks lined up rather than signing up fluff deals just for the sake of propping the share price.
Of course, the traders and impatient HATE this, as they want anything to prop the price, regardless of the longer-term ramifications for the ultimate growth and success of the company.

Please remind us all again how LPI went with its great resource, DFS and permits….? It went nowhere for years, iirc, as it effectively waited around for someone to drop hundreds of millions in its lap, on the basis of some lab tests and some rough hopes of being able to actually produce commercially.
