Mate, real talk here - are you depressed? Symptomatically, the inability to see anything positive out of something could be an indicator of depression.
A therapist friend of mine has always recommended a gratification diary or just a list of things to be thankful for.
on that note, could I ask you for a simple 5 dot-point list of positive aspects of this announcement and/or positive notes on what it could be for the company?
