AGY's share price has been below the 15 cents mark for the last 6 moths or so.
If ATL wanted just to make an investment, we would have bought on market and possibly get same outcome cheaper.

The fact they knocked at the company's door and ask for a fresh issue of shares means ATL are committed to support AGY to get through to full production both because it is in their best interest to get the product and because they wouldn't want to see the SP have a dive into the single digits again.

All the decimal positions in the CR price means ATL carefully considered their move and didn't give a single dollar for free. Lots of due diligence at ATL's side, so it is not like us poor retailers only hinging on sentiment.
