Let's assume it runs at 70% load, the diesel consumption is 25 ML/year. Diesel price in Mali 2023 US$1.5/L, diesel cost US$37.5 m/year for 500 kt SC6.0, or US$75/t SC6.0. The equivalent electricity is 25 ML*38MJ/L*30% efficiency = 285,000 GJ or 70,000,000 kWh. If using electricity from the grid, it may cost US$17.5 m/year at US$250/1000 kWh, or US$35/t SC6.0. Not sure how accurate this estimation is.
