I wouldn't like to take a loan out at this rate, but we're trying to spin up the first of a number of gigafactories here.... we're not buying a 5 bed house in Townsville.
Also, 4 year term - anyone that doesn't expect interest rates to rise in the next 4 years is dreaming. Only Australia has said that they won't increase for 2 years (and let's see if they can stick to it). The USA makes no such promise even for this calendar year. I'd expect considerably higher rates within 4 years, and I'd expect that this was a serious consideration in the loan we've been given, taking into account those inevitably increased rates within 1-2 years, let alone within 4.
Bring it on. Been here for years, it's time to make some $$$ and smiles
