Well put it this way - there were around 1700 trades made in XTV on the ASX today. There is 145,000 views on this thread in 2 days. If 1% of the readers of this thread were punters who made a trade in XTV, you've almost accounted for the amount of trades made today.

You said it yourself - HC would only influence a fellow poster (I'd extend that to include reader as well) to buy or sell. HC claimed earlier this year to have 170,000 active members. That's a lot of potential posters to be influenced into buying or selling.
