I wonder if it was the recent RSNA presentation alongside Philips which triggered the interest from the DOD. Also, if the DOD is very interested in CT:VQ before FDA clearance, then there is likely to be plenty of similar interest forthcoming from other govt and commercial organisations alike.

I think also CT:VQ is the game changing catalyst for the company, whilst we continue to drive uptake of existing comprehensive portfolio of products, including the recently approved IQ-UIP.

I honestly believe Philips had a role in this, since the reseller agreement is exclusive for US govt.... but this is not an easy item to pull off... why wouldn't DOD just wait for FDA approval in 12-18mths time.
