Some clients are going to find vendors through Google search, but the big ones won't. 3DP are better off spending time presenting at industry forums / events to get the word out.
There are many, many competitors in the space. 3DP's competitive advantage is speed, which translates to cost (cheaper to get data in, store, and process) and value (more timely insights).
If 3rd parties build the rest on their platform, all the better.
