My understanding is a large part of the export market for LBL is steel rollers with hardened wear resistant surfaces for rolling molten steel in USA steel mills . the rollers last up to 4 times as long as the incumbent rollers being used .
At one stage (from memory ) there was an issue with the quality of the LBL rollers and the replacement LBL rollers took along time to arrive .
In a situation like that having a facility in the States may be and advantage as closer to the supplier than Australia . I do not know the size of the facility needed or the personal required , but maybe it it was just a small facility , that could be scaled up later or a larger facility leased later , there would be potential (apart from not being subjected to tariffs ) , guess I should state would have been potential .
