I am the odd person out on this thread , as feel this would be the ideal time to expand into the USA , as the uncertainty there will create opportunities for taking on building and machinery leases at discounted rates , and tariffs on imports make USA domestically produced and repaired products a more affordable substitute .
The caveat is they would need a management team state side that is capable of independently running that operation effectively , and I suspect that is a factor lacking currently , and has been historically the main issue with small ANZ companies that have branched out into North America.
Often expansion into the UK works better even if the market is smaller, the business culture is more similar to ANZ .
