Wake up man. LBT has products that still lives in the past. Not many labs are going to invest $300K and $100K (or $50K, I forget) annual license fee for a product that adds little benefit to current workflow. Don't be upset that I have different opinion to you, just do your research on current trend in microbiology. I'll give you one insight.

Let's look at one example I posted above. Biofire has FDA Approved (in 2013) product called, Filmarray BCID (blood culture identification). Biofire Filmarray already has installed base of 21,400 world-wide (primarily because of their respiratory viruses panel) . If you are a lab operator, would you try to utilise Filmarray that they already have? or Buy APAS Independence that has upfront cost of $300K?

This is just one example, there are plenty of products out there that completely bypasses culturing of positive blood culture samples. I can't understand why anyone would invest in the technology of the past.

    Have a good day
