my understanding of the process re WI is from @danpech and a few others here (they are still asleep in WA so I'll have a go). as I get it, these parties that have taken the WI had the option to do so due to previous leases , land holders at the kitchen table etc, takes a while to work out who's in. and they have a great advantage of seeing how things look before investing blind. ie post some work done). has zero to do with BRKs share register etc.
