re: Ann: USN: US NICKEL TAKEOVER OFFER FOR AR... They will have to do better than 4 for 3 I think. USN has been around 0.14 for the last couple of months (ironing out the fluctuations), while ARD has been around 0.2. So accepting the offer, you're gonna lose out... or so it would appear. Hopefully it drives the SP higher however.
USN are being a bit cheeky making the offer when they're on a localised high, and then saying "based on our last closing price..." and yet for argent they give a number of different interpretations based on various VWAP's...
