    Hey All,

Extremely relieved this Patent has been issued and congratulations to the team at the Uni on seeing the value in applying for this patent almost 5 years ago. Great conviction to have the foresight of the Quantum Computing growth and it has got us to where we are today. The issues with disclosure of the patent was placing some question marks on the integrity of the company, no fault untoward them as they followed the path to patent as instructed from their lawyers, however having the information in the public realm had created some unequal footing with a few investors, we now move on.

IP and patent prosecution is the key with securing future commercialisations amongst some of the key players in the Semi Conductor industry.
Dissecting the announcement yesterday, its pretty clear from the first bullet point where we are headed next after this patent focus.
"Archer reaches its most significant early-stage commercialisation milestone with the granting of a US patent for the 12CQ quantum computing chip". It has been discussed that Archer had required Patent surety before proceeding with talks with US business (not sure how much weight this carriers) and i think we will start to see some more MOU's and working agreements in place to advance production of the chip.

We still have a few milestones to reach with the 12CQ chip viability which I believe we should only be a few months off, with engineering of the chip been the 2022 Focus ( we may see a better road map at the AGM in a few months). The patent process, the ITech divestment and the upcoming Annual report all take time out of managements schedule, which I believe going forward we can now advance some of areas which need to be pushed a little more aggressively.

It's important to note that we wont see a rush of overseas investors piling into Archer in my opinion. With the recent agreement with the Australian Defence Prime and the changes to the foreign investment rules especially around Quantum Computing, this will stop a lot of investments from overseas, it has to be championed by local investors and governments.(The new agreement with the US may see some relaxation of FIRB rules and more money flow to QC start ups in Australia). Actually the history of Quantum Computing was originally funded by the US Army Research office back in the 1990's. For those unfamiliar with the back story, a little bit is mentioned here in a good article from 2 years ago.

New investors might also gain from watching the CSIRO road map webinar from last year which gives you an over view of the Quantum industry in Australia.

Anyway I digress. We will see the share price bounce around and profits will be taken and new positions entered . All I know is if they nail the 12CQ chip, then we are miles ahead of other competitors in the market place for the small portable Quantum computing
