sorry to disappoint Wazzoo, I had absolutely no idea about Mgt shake up to come!
My liquids theory is based on the fact that the price of nat gas is persistently low and not keeping pace with crude and with supply ever increasing due to shale there is very little prospect for this to change over the long term.
Apart from short term bleeps (eg current Middle East crisis) the only thing that will be a game changer for US nat gas long term is if the US decides to export LNG (using up surplus), or energy policy turns from crude to gas for transport, or both!
