Perhaps management went with a smaller company for the following reasons - A more bespoke relationship where cooperation can be enhanced. - No conflicting research technologies being undertaken. - A higher level of control over the technology. - more suited as a research team to our technology. - At the end of the day its about quality of service, not size. - The standards have to be met, irrespective.
