Dideoxy: Firstly the patents: You will see from your Google search for "uscom patents" that there are a string of patents and other IP that are often inter-related and cover the UCM technology. You will also note the extended time (some years) it takes to get the various patents approved and registered.
From what I can see the patents from the 1A forward have been well managed and still have the majority of a 20 year protection period to run.
The patent protection is a very broad Moat around the company as the core of it has taken some 16+ years to finalize registration.
From the USCOM Annual Report 2020: "Uscom holds approximately 20 patents and continue to grow IP with 2 powerful new patent applications in the last 12 months,including a new method of measuring and monitoring hypertension to accompany our BP+, and a patent to protect ourVENTITEST ventilator testing technology."
This IP and the investment security it underlines, has not yet been factored into the market price - it will happen and when it does I suspect the move up will be quite sudden and permanent.

Rob Phillips has chosen to be the public face of the company and it is in truth his "baby" - He does seem to be everywhere, but what makes this possible, is a very well organised supporting structure that generates the Companies money. The structure is planned and perennial - at this time:
Rob Phillips, is Executive Director, Chairman, Chief Executive Officer.
Nick Schicht, General Manager has been there in a key role for at least 16 + years.
Directors range in experience from 17 years to recently appointed.
There is a 7 member Medical & Technology Advisory Board in place to duplicate and expand on Robs specialist medical knowledge
There is a head office in Sydney housing the consolidated entity.
Uscom Ltd. has five: 100% owned subsidiaries: Uscom Inc USA, Uscom Medical Ltd UK. Uscom Kft Hungry Europe, Beijing Uscom Consulting Co. LTD. China, and Uscom SNG Pte. Ltd. Singapore. Each of these subsidiaries has a certain degree of autonomy and some have special tasks within the overall organisation.

It is very clear that while Rob would be sorely missed - he has already put the steps in place that ensure Uscom Ltd survival.
