I sympathize with your feelings but in your frustrations in watching a daily price that is totally unrelated to what is happening in the company you are entirely missing the point.
I am a great Buffett fan and I know his teachings well - he also says "you should never invest in shares you cannot afford to hold"
You have not lost your money on UCM until you SELL!
With hindsight based on what you know now, UCM shares may not have suited your investment expectations, but you own them and have to assess whether they have a future or not.
So watch Rob Phillips latest Video presentation again and put yourself in his place as the business owner - ask yourself if you could do it better. Then ask yourself if he was to put UCM on the market today - what he has to sell? What price would you ask if UCM was yours to sell. The very recent move into the massive untapped Russian market - what is that worth in the future? The latest figures (he mentioned in passing) in the video is that the USCOM 1 the flagship device that has financed the company's transition from a local to an international structure has now passed 1,500 units spread around the world (at around USD 30k per unit that is USD 45,000,000 sold) to finance the companies present position. The telling point when I last checked a year or so ago is that production of the 1A has risen around 50% in the last year!
HAS ANY OF THIS SEEN ITSELF REFLECTED IN THE SHARE PRICE? - the answer is NO!
WILL IT BE REFLECTED IN THE SHARE PRICE ONE DAY? - the way to bet, is YES!.
WHEN WILL THIS RE-EVALUATION HAPPEN? - I have no idea - but I suspect it will happen suddenly and catch everyone by surprise - meanwhile I will put my latest 14c buys in the bottom draw and get on with managing my other holdings.
I know a lot about UCM - have followed them for 20 years and always add new shares to my portfolio - when dips allow.
