Calibration as a service: an example is digital radiography. Fujitsu x-ray machines are sold to hospitals. In order to maintain precision and safety, they need to be calibrated at a set frequency. Fujitsu technicians are trained to provide calibration services. This provides recurring revenue for Fujitsu.
