15 usd cents per kwh means usd 600 electricity cost for 1 tonne of silicomanganese at 4000kwh. as opposed to omhs usd 140 per tonne. this doesnt include shipping and transportation costs. The prices of electricity in India are still going up. Absent the price rises there will be shortages as coal price at its current lvl require higher prices per kwh to be charged to consumers. With that 12 rupee cap in place. There will be shortages if coal prices stay high.
