"Vanadium Redox Flow Batteries VRFB are currently used for grid scale energy storage applications where large scale and long duration electrical energy storage is required".
The VRFB,s are already proving themselves overseas so it may be not much more than demonstrating how it works, as the battery has been there doing its thing since June and has so far proven reliable.
"V-Kor Australian strategy is focused on commercial demonstration of its battery technology, with the ultimate target of delivering grid scale storage capacity".
