I stopped scrolling through this Announcement when I got to the page that stated, Bain have not had an independent safety compliance report completed yet. If Bain decide to have this completed? I hope they start with the airside ground operations and airside flight servicing equipment and machinery. Virgin Australia was useing outdated equipment purchased from Ansett that definitely doesn't comply with today's standards. Im happy to challenge Any safety officer on site that passes 80% of the equipment as safe. Virgin Australia could no longer afford workcover insurance back when John Borgeti was CEO and some how he was able to obtain via the Government Virgin Australia Self Insurance. I hope Bain purchase new airside ground services operations equipment otherwise they will ultimately go down the same employee injury path.
