I have no inside knowledge, but from past activities of AQA I am sure there is no love lost between AQA and AMCI. They are JV partners in the West Pilbara Iron Ore Project(WPIOP) and from memory there has already been some litigation between them about the preempive right of a partner upon the sale of the other partner's interest there.

While that should not influence what happens in AMCI's other interests, one does not know what sort of strategy is contemplated in private companies like AMCI.

What I do know is that AQA has a strong track record of enforcing its rights in JV situations and I would not discount the possibility of litigation if the valuation discovery process appears somehow contrived to dud them.
