I’d agree it was the CO2 news, but don’t agree with it being poorly understood. What was a potentially lucrative gas well is now effectively a duster. Yes, you can generate an income stream from CO2 wells - but it’s value is orders of magnitude less - CO2 Sells for around $15 per tonne.
Having a 90% CO2 well constricts you to the CO2 market as processing it to get C1 will be a very costly exercise and I doubt any surrounding plants can handle that level of CO2 without upgrade.
Anyway - just my thoughts. I’ve not been looking at other activities - just Nangwarry 1.
