The revenue will flow in as soon as they start producing gas from the three Vali wells. The $15 million pre-payment is spread over the duration of the contract (4.5 years). Therefore, it will be a small part of the gas sold each year.
The joint venture also needs to pay for the processing and transportation costs. It would be horrible if they did not get revenue from Vali in 2023.
I don't know how much cash MEL has. I hope they still have a big chunk of the money they raised recently. My only concern is whether they have enough cash to last them until the production starts from the three Vali wells.
The joint venture may get another pre-payment for Odin. Another possibility is borrowing some money like VEN did. Either would be a better option than raising money at this share price IMO.
