I”m unsure that the best time to pounce is when a project is 100% de-risked as it just increases the purchase price. At the moment VEN could offer MEL shareholders 1 VEN for 3 MEL shares plus 10 cents per share. I am sure they could finance such a cash component and MEL shareholders would retain their interest in production and get a cash bonus. This would be a win/win scenario in my opinion.
