Continued political pressures from the Greens and Independents for no more new coal or gas projects is never going to help a company like VEN that is trying to develop new gas projects and has plans to continue to explore for gas. There is always some risk that a government that is either desperate to stay in power or to get some legislation through may agree with it or they may do it just to impress the EU.
Proven production over the next 3 to 6 months is what is needed. When VEN talk about new gas production coming online in early March we need to keep in mind that in VEN time it would be up to the end of April. Still a lot potential for this company.
