You have reinforced my own perspective there I think. AKP may have announced that "X will happen", and if they have said it, then I am not entitled to say "BS! They are wrong! They're lying! It will never happen!", because without any actual information to the contrary, that is the only authoritatively pertinent info we have been given.

If AKP chooses to not inform its rank and file shareholders of what clearly are significant and decisive developments that directly affect their earlier announcements as they occur, such as AGM in Sept-Oct based on X happening, or indeed until long after such info could have informed or shaped SH expectations, who am I to disagree. Even if I think it is piss-poor management and remiss chairmanship. That lack of updating is an 'own goal'. My quoting it is not. If anything, by reiterating what they have said I am simply calling them to account.

The only alternatives to being given no up to date news is to:
a) attribute deliberate disdain of the board for SH,
b) guess what is happening, coloured by ones own estimation of managements attitudes (something that is clearly inevitable as evidenced by extensive speculation on this forum),
c) try to triangulate between atoms of presumed fact to derive a reasonable cause-and-effect expectation of what is likely to occur, when, and why.

I try to do c. It has rarely been proved right, but it is the only rational option available. I am perennially disappointed, while remaining optimistic that what has been announced will eventually follow.

Your comments about the co being delisted unless x,y, or z being done are indeed one of my chief concerns. And what happens to our shares in the ownership of the company as a result

My understanding is that even though there are a number of events in the Jewish calendar coming up, they are not shared with the Chinese workforce. And vice versa. One would hope for some sense of urgency to prevail, AND a willingness by the only voice we can expect to hear, to keep SH informed in a timely manner well before such a prospect eventuates.
