This was the original grade-tonnage curve done for the Laterite resource in 1993. Despite some of the laterite having being mined and various additional drilling over the last 32 years, the estimate is surprisingly close to the JORC that TG6 recently released of 759kt at 0.7g/t.
What this original grade-tonnage curve however also shows is that at a cut-off of about 0.6g/t there was ~333kt @ 1.0g/t. This ~333kt of ore contains 10,706oz while the other larger volume to the right on the curve contains ~426kt of ore and 8,034oz @ 0.586g/t. If toll processing volumes are limited, the bulk of the profit from the laterite can be achieved in 300-400kt because the cost base will be nearly the same for the 1g/t and 0.6g/t average grade material but margins will be much higher on the 1g/t stuff.
