    Heres something to consider
    These %'s are what they are ->

    Now from this article ( World Class Vanadium Deposits ) we have this extract :

    "As a general rule, if the oxidized minerals contain a high grade of vanadium, a roasting process with sodium chloride can be employed to produce extract the vanadium pentoxide. This process also works with a sulphide ore containing a high vanadium content. Lower grade ores require a more complicated process involving pyrometallurgical and hydrometallurgical operations."

    Now from TNG's own blurb ->

    "The fundamental difference and innovation introduced by the TIVAN® process route is that the vanadium is recovered entirely through a hydrometallurgical route incorporating leaching and solvent extraction."

    Now putting 2 + 2 together ->
    The TNG deposit appears very low grade in the Vanadium department, hence it seems the need for a "hydrometalurgical process" not necessary with a high grade deposit ( ie AVL's and others Vanadium deposits ).
    ( Didn't we just read something about that ? )

    And just for the record I'm not the one who brought TNG into the argument, but this is the info at hand.
    Make of it what you will.
