Can’t we initiate this 2 strike rule, even for its first year?
“The two-strikes rule was introduced in 2011. Under the rule, if shareholders vote down a company’s executive remuneration package two years in a row, the board may be voted out of office.”
I had only just started buying NMT this time last year (so I was therefore much better off financially). :-(
But it sounds as though they didn’t have this action against them last year.
But I had shares in a company that was facing its second year of strike action. Frustratingly, they sold the company at a very low price (though touch wood I was OK - many other long term investors weren’t).
Just a thought.
