evidence they are capping the SP?
I see evidence they lifted the SP about $0.60 when they made their offer.
the fact is this is smart business on their part. anyone hoping they would raise the takeover bid does not understand psychology. if they had raised their offer, all the weak hands would have had their confidence boosted. by delaying another few months, but also leaving on the table the option to withdraw or lower their offer in future, they will likely shake out a bunch of weak hands who were just holding on until the deadline, rolling the dice on a higher price.
facing reality- there is nothing stopping this going higher. the fact that it has traded around $2.70-$2.80 for months is because the offer has put a floor under it, pausing temporarily the downtrend it was on.
smart business.
