It's also worth mentioning the following very important point:
Infigen's Capital wind farm (NSW) and Lake Bonney Stage 1 wind farm (SA) are both classified by AEMO as 'non-scheduled' generators in the NEM registrations and exemptions list:
https://aemo.com.au/-/media/files/electricity/nem/participant_information/nem-registration-and-exemption-list.xls?la=en
For those not in the industry, these wind farms were completed before AEMO created the 'semi-scheduled' classification. The semi-scheduled classification applies to all new wind and solar farms over 5 MW.
Why is this important? Non-scheduled generators are shielded from curtailment in the dispatch process - they end up getting priority over semi-scheduled generation:"Non-scheduled generators (including several large wind farms in SA and VIC) aren’t curtailed through the dispatch process by AEMO"

Now tell me, if you were a potential buyer of two identical wind farms. One is non-scheduled, and the other is semi-scheduled. Which one would you buy?
