A while back I worked for an Aussie company that had biomedical tech that was very lucrative. A competitor put in a low ball bid, then another competitor started a bidding war.Just when we thought one of them was going to win it, a massive company trumped them both with a F$rk off bid and swallowed us whole.
I would not be surprised if the bidding for IFN brought the company to the attention of some other big fish.
