Therefore, optimal dose, number of foxes, is not only relating to the breed of rabbit, but also, the conditions the rabbit breeds in.

Hence, finding optimal safe dose, where you can just keep on introducing foxes, regardless of the conditions, which will eat the rabbits, and hopefully, the foxes will ultimately starve, and not start eating the chickens (as someone else mentions). Not as simple as just keep adding, otherwise, the foxes might learn how to eat chickens.
