mmm Methinks the boldest wording we have seen referring to CF33 as “a treatment option for advanced cancer” is a tidal shift. As others have commented the word potential has been eliminated. It’s as if the marching band has been given a song and they are all dressed up but the band leader needs to check before moving them off. Obviously when that occurs, will be compelling.
So my gut from reading this announcement and now prior ones is that I feel it’s not a rehash but is a soft intro to further conclusions being drawn. As Jase and Outlander and others have commented there is more to come and from Jase’s excellent explanation on the poster and the late breaking inclusion that may well be imminent. But who knows - it’s all well intentioned speculation.
Something that I would ask of our medical posters is if say the next announcement comments on the strength of CF33 and with Prof Fong at the helm, wouldn’t IMU want to release in concert with a possible announcement by the FDA in relation to trial status and in turn availability of the treatment.? It seems that a significant cancer treatment success might have a comment from the FDA and cross reference to a release from it?
Again pondering.
