No wonder sp has taken a hit
38m in new contracts, 5month wait for that..
Joke
The sino win is hardly new, Vdm construction/como have been mobilized up there since 09. This contract fell into their lap,
Hardly the result of new management.
And with the amount of flood relief money going around 1x 13m project, again where Vdm was already mobilized, not the result of new management.
With a tender conversion rate of 0/105 pre capital raising it is clear this trend is continuing with 1.5b of tenders out there is simply counting the eggs before they've hatched.
Yet to see the new management team stop the bleed,
1.5b of tenders is not exciting, Vdm is too small to deliver 1.5b of work, tells me they're wasting money bidding on anything under the sun and the 1/100 projects they price incorrectly and win they will lose money on because their estimating team is clearly over exhausting themselves.
Vdm is a 7th or 8th preferred contractor in WA and until they stop the scatter gun approach to tendering they will always remain an overpriced, slow to deliver, erroneous construction company.
