The 35m is solid, no doubt it.
Pattersons will be happy taking about 2.1M from the kitty.
New holders of VDM will be happy with 5c.
Existing holders will be happy...lets skip this part.

Personally i don't mind if they sell Cape, as long as it fits with their new plan and they shop around to maximize value.
Northcott, quite rightly outlined the capex involved with that type of business and divesting is not crazy.

Wheels are turning for a change and there are plenty of announcements, which is very different from days gone by.

Last time VDM raised cash, then made about 16m profit to then pour it all down the toilet.
Looking back it's hard to believe.

I'm almost sure they won't do it again, as plenty of shareholders have let them know enough is enough.

Seriously if we can't make money from the space VDM occupies in OZ around mining and construction there is something very, very wrong.

Maybe they will try something different.
Turn a profit and keep shareholders informed.
Not too much to ask and believe there is a very good chance this will making profit in the near / medium term.
