sorry to jump in, but absolutely not.
many inexperienced traders don’t really know how to properly value a stock, and they are persuaded by the buy/sell and intraday momentum.
Its not a ridiculous notion at all. I sit across the desk from someone who did exactly that, today, on another stock. Happens all the time.
