re: Ann: Vector Composites and Quickstep Awar... Usexpat - personally I'm not expecting much out of the next two months. Even if the announement comes through on signing of the contract I will be (happily) surprised to see it go through 50c.
Normally last 4-6weeks of the financial year is characterised by people selling stocks to make 'losses' in order to offset other gains for tax purposes. Then they will rebuy in July.
On the tax side it isn't legal to buy and sell like that. But it is considered tax avoidance if the sale/re-purchase occurs close together (or can be construed as avoidance). Think they refer to it as washing.
