very interesting observation you make about the financial community marketing effort, Psalty. I had gained a similar impression about the amount of stakeholder briefing.
there is no indication that they need funds for expansion, and not much to say they are looking at takeovers. but I've never been very clear why the family IPO-ed when they did. It always seemed to me the company would have been more valuable when the gyro case had been demonstrated. so, maybe, there is some desire in the family to sell down.(?)
Mark M made a comment at the very end of one his interviews (around interims IIRC) about hoping shareholders would enjoy the rewards (not his exact words). I took him to be saying to existing shareholders to hold tight and stay aboard - rather than sell early and miss out. I took the increased marketing effort to be consistent with that sentiment. but all just speculation on my part.
