Kh in the Toolachee Formation at Odin-1, especially K (permeability) will be key to achieving or bettering Beckler-001's initial production rate in Odin-1; as you rightly point out, we certainly have the h (height - pay thickness) but K is the unknown. Our JVP would have obtained an indication of K from the MDT pressure data in Odin-1. I found the plot below in a 2013 Senex presentation which shows Toolachee perm's in the 0.1 - 1000mD range ----- quiet variable.
huneng, you mention a Beckler001 porosity/perm trend data. Are you able to share this trend data as I'd like to see how it fits with the Senex data below?
I really like the Toolachee results in Odin-1 and Vali-2 as they will;
likely not need fraccing
save completion $$
produce at higher initial rates than the Patchawarra
probably decline at lower rates than the fracced Patchawarra.
Given the announced gas shows in the Toolachee at Vali-3, we may even have wireline log-confirmed gas pay in that well as well.
