Hi Cara, Prior to entering the primary objective, especially in exploration wells, company's normally run casing in the overlying seal (e.g. shale) above the objective as a safety measure in the event of a well control issue, such as a blow out occurs in the primary objective or deeper horizons due to unexpected over-pressured. MEL or VEN did not provide a well construction diagram for Vali-1 so we do not know if they plan to run casing about the Patchawara Formation. I would prefer they control drill and take their time as the drill bit approaches the objectives, especially if mud gas reading are on the increase.
