Santos is committed to storing CO2 in depleted fields at Moomba. All of the producers that use the gas plant there would have to pay their share of the costs . It don't think it has started yet and like a lot of the projects being pushed for Zero at 2050 it may be delayed and / or go over budget and could have an effect on marginally profitable fields . I am sure we will hear more about it as time goes on .
Are there any posters here know anything that could enlighten us about it ?
One thing I am sure of , the transition cannot proceed without gas and cheap gas on the East Coast is in the past .
