I can't quite get my head around it either. If it's a success then it's highly likely that the SPP will be significantly scaled back, so it's not even sensible to churn for the options. All a bit strange, especially with how well VEN are going. Only logical conclusion for me is participants in the placement taking a small profit or selling for their purchase price and retaining options.
