The nature of the business and tech itself, the tech centre could be located anywhere in the world and it wont make a difference. They have the office in Sydney, and are setting up in Chicago.

The Gold Coast has always been the home of the tech, and it gives Rick Anstey, who is based on the Gold Coast, a desk to sit at and we shouldn't forget how important he could be.

The only thing to take out of the announcement is that they are continuing to implement their objectives now they have funding to build the business.

The previous announcement did mention that revenue is starting to flow from the early partnerships. We don't know how much yet although most likely small, however money is going to start coming in and I imagine this will only grow exponentially once the operations are suitably set up.
